Yes, if you've been visiting my sites for a while, you'll know that this used to be a standalone site by the name of Last Translation. However, I decided to consolidate that site and this into one to give Shinjite more of a unique feel, rather than simply being a "collective."

Anyway, I decided to take on translating songs as a hobby on the side because I wanted to improve my Korean vocabulary and also because a lot of the songs out there that are translated have shoddy translations. :x

I must warn you, direct translations are not easy tasks to take on, (as I realize after deciding to take this on as a project, hahaha). Anyway, I thought I should mention that a lot of things tend to get lost in translation, so I really do try my best to make lyrics flow correctly, but it doesn't always work. Certain lines won't exactly equal the direct translation because otherwise, the lyrics would be too choppy and make no sense. As for the romanization (Romaji), it's ... random. I don't do the 'correct' romanization all the time, so most of the time, it's written the way that it sounds. Sometimes, I'll write "ae" instead of "eh" and blah blah; it really just depends on what I feel like writing at that particular moment in time.

On a side note, Johnny is the one who does the Chinese translations. I simply brush up the English, but he does everything else for the Chinese songs. I, of course, do all of the Korean songs myself.

Last Translation is a part of the Shinjite Network and is one of many pet projects. I plan to have an impressive list of song translations someday, but since this is an ongoing project of mine, it won't all be done at once.

Anyhow, since this site is very simple and to the point, I don't have all these little subsections where I can stick FAQs, so I'll just say what I have to say here. Don't take my translations and claim them as your own! Translations are a very personal thing, and it'd kill me to see mine posted somewhere, uncredited. But use them to your heart's content for personal purposes... that's what this site is for, isn't it? ^^
